It’s said to be the world’s largest art exhibit, 110 kilometres and 94 stations which are decorated by some 200 artists. Welcome to an 1000-pieces art tour in the Stockholm’s subway system. Motif: Solna Centrum Station
The design from 1973 celebrates the 1912 Summer Olympics which took place in Stockholm at a stadium not far from this station. The rainbow colours represent the five rings of the Olympic movement and is a reoccurring theme throughout the station.
If you have enough time and patience, crack on this 1000 pieces puzzle. When you finish, you can frame it and turn it into a very stylish wall decoration. Photographed by David Altrath
