Luxury Matches - Natural History Museum Minerals

The Archivist journey began in 1998 down in the archives of the Natural History Museum and is an element of their past. In 2025, The Archivist pay homage to this crucial part of their beginnings by releasing a range of matchbox designs that have been made in collaboration with the Natural History Museum.

• This design has been inspired by the artworks of French mineralogist Francois Louis Swebach Desfontaines (1749-1793) who created a series of exquisite watercolour drawings depicting mineral specimens in boxwork cabinets.
